What To Expect at a Service...
How should I dress?
We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. Most people at Trinity dress somewhat casual while others do dress up. Jeans are certainly fine and shorts often seen during the summer. Can I bring my child? We welcome children of all ages to Trinity and while we have a nursery, your children are always welcome to remain with you in the service. During the school year we also offer Sunday School. |
What happens during the service?
Please take a moment to complete the worship registration slip and place it in the offering plate later in the service (we want to know you were here!). The slip is a way for us to learn a little bit more about you and to be able to communicate with you. We promise that we won’t show up at your door, but we will be happy to answer any of your questions. We want you to enjoy your time with us so we encourage you to participate as much or as little as you like, expression yourself as yourself. Everyone has a different way of worshiping and offering praise ~ for instance, some make the sign of the cross, others sing along to the songs, and still others clap their hands to the music, while some prefer to be quiet and listen for the still, small voice of God. During the service, feel free to offer your praise, as you feel comfortable and inspired. During our time together, we will sing, pray, read Scripture, laugh, enjoy a children’s sermon, and hear a message from the pastor. You have the opportunity to partake of Holy Communion at all services. The traditional gathering usually lasts about an hour with the 9:30 non-traditional service being around 45 minutes. We would love for you to hang around for a little while before or after the service. Refreshments are available most weeks between 9 am and 11 am, in our welcome area. Our members love to spend time meeting newcomers and catching up with friends. |
