Purpose Statement of Women of the ELCA
As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.
The Men's Breakfast group meets every second Saturday at 8:30. Please join us for fellowship at Karl's, on Hixson Pike near the Northgate Mall.
ChristCare Groups We currently have three ChristCare Groups active at Trinity. ChristCare is a small group ministry. They are involved in Bible study and also participate in various outreach projects. If you would like more information, please call the church office.
Sunday School Opportunities
Herb Burhenn’s Bible Study Class is now reading early Christian literature from the period just after the completion of the New Testament. We begin at 9:45 in the library.
Family Faith Formation is a multi-generational interactive bible discussion for middle schoolers, high schoolers and adults, led by Anne Cain, Sue Combs, David Combs, & Gary Hart. They meet in Pastor Combs’ office during the Sunday School hour. The discussion centers on readings for the week. All are welcome, so bring your donut and coffee and join us any week you can.
· Children’s Sunday School meets in the Youth Room, immediately after the 9:30 service and is led by Sondra Hart & Freia Stephens.
Toddlers - 5th grade are encouraged to come, make friends, play games, and learn about Jesus, the Bible and what it means to be a Christian. We start with prayer requests, have a short lesson, play games, or have activities that reinforce the lesson; then end class by holding hands and reciting the Lord’s Prayer.
